Formed in 2020, the Regulus Quartet was awarded the 43rd Kirishima International Music Festival Prize and the Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi Music Director Award in 2010, and has performed at major music festivals in Japan. The quartet will present a wide variety of music including W.A. Mozart's "Divertimento," J. Haydn's "Largo," A. Webern's emotionally rich "Slow Movement for String Quartet," and F. Mendelssohn's "String Quartet No. 6," composed after the loss of his beloved sister. Please look forward to the rapidly growing string quartet.
