Jugend Philharmoniker - 4th Fukushima Concert

The Jugend Philharmonic has held three concerts in the past under the philosophy of "exploring how orchestras can contribute to society" through musical activities, including visiting rural villages that do not usually have the opportunity to see a live orchestra during this season, and guest performances by local high school students in Fukushima Prefecture. The orchestra also held three concerts in Fukushima Prefecture, including guest appearances by local high school students. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, special concerts have been held in the suburbs of Tokyo since 2020, but this year, the 4th concert will be held in Fukushima Prefecture.

In the second half of the concert, the orchestra will perform together with local musicians, featuring masterpieces by Holst and Sibelius.

Admission is free for up to four people if you bring a flyer (or a cell phone picture)! All the members of the Jugend Philharmonic look forward to seeing you at this performance in Fukushima Prefecture, which can be called a "second hometown" for the Jugend Philharmonic!
