The orchestra will be conducted by Mr. Naotaka Tachibana, and will present an attractive and unique program for the summer season.
The first piece will be the overture to Mendelssohn's "Fingal's Cave" in the "Roman version 2nd draft.
You may discover something new in this performance, which is different from the familiar "Fingal".
The second piece will be Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1.
We have had the pleasure of performing with many wonderful soloists,
This will be the first time for the orchestra to perform a violin concerto in a subscription concert.
We welcome violinist Yuji Koyama and will perform Bruch's masterpiece, which has been sung down to the present day.
The third piece will be Schubert's Symphony No. 2.
Euterpe has been working on a Schubert cycle since 2014.
We are pleased to present to you the charm of Schubert's beautiful and lively music.
The concert will be held in August, the height of summer.
We hope you will spend an afternoon with us surrounded by the refreshing sounds of the hot summer season.
