＜Parero Saxophone Quartet

Parero Saxophone Quartet was formed in 2016 by four female saxophonists of the same generation. In addition to standard saxophone quartet music, the quartet is also working on music from a variety of genres to broaden its repertoire. The quartet is also actively expanding its activities by performing commissioned works and collaborating with piano quintets and other groups. She won the second prize in the general category of the Salzburg-Mozart International Chamber Music Competition 2017. The name Parero Saxophone Quartet was coined from the Spanish words pareja (two) and tesoro (treasure), with the hope that the space between the players and the audience will become a treasure. In 2022, they will hold their first concert tour "Parero on Ice" featuring music used in figure skating in 4 cities in Japan, which has been well received. In addition to their own projects, they are also actively involved in commissioned performances at local events and outreach concerts.
