Ayao Oishi Violin Recital

Ayao Oishi (Violin)
She started playing violin at the age of 4.
She has been a member of the Nara Prefectural Junior Orchestra since 2011, and will serve as concert mistress for about two years starting April 2019.
She won the 1st place Gold Prize and Osaka Governor's Prize in the String Junior High School Division of the 4th Miotsukushi Music Festival Classic Competition, the 3rd Prize in the Violin Division Junior High School Division of the 27th Japan Classical Music Competition, the Honorable Mention in the Violin Division High School Division of the 74th All Japan Student Music Competition in Osaka, the 3rd Prize in the String University Star Division of the 16th Cecilia International Music The 16th Cecilia International Music Competition, 3rd prize in the star division for stringed instruments for university students, the 24th Osaka International Music Competition, 3rd prize in the Age-U string division, the 10th Aoniyoshi Music Competition, Nara 2023 Professional Stage, Grand Prix, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award, and many other awards.
Participated in the Seiji Ozawa Music School Opera Project XX.
Currently a fourth-year student at Kyoto City University of Arts. She has studied violin under Toshinobu Nakamura, Kazuto Umezawa, and Yasutsugu Toyoshima, and viola under Koichi Komine and Izumi Hosokawa.

Yuna Saito (Piano)
After graduating from Hiroshima University Senior High School, she entered Waseda University and re-applied to Kyoto City University of Arts, where she is currently a fourth-year student in the piano major. She won the Excellence Prize at the 34th JPTA Japan Piano Teachers Association Piano Audition C Division National Competition, the Maple Prize from the Hiroshima Prefectural Board of Education, the 1st Prize at the 14th Beuten Music Competition National Competition, the Age-U Espoir Prize in the piano division at the 21st Osaka International Music Competition, the 1st Prize at the All Japan Piano Competition 2023 General First Prize in the National Competition of Professional U30 Division, etc. Completed master classes with Claire Désert at the 32nd and 33rd French Music Academy in Kyoto. Attended master classes given by Mr. Pascal Devaillon at the university.
She has studied piano under Yoshiko Nishi, Motoko Kojima, Satoru Sunahara, and Naoko Miyashita. She has also studied with Megumi Ito, Jacques Louvier, and Gilead Michory.
