The quartet is led by Asaka Igarashi, cello and arranger.
In 2004, they released their first album "Shizuku - Hometown", a collection of children's songs and shoka for string quartet, and in 2007, their second album "Minamo". Since then, she has been performing classical music with stories at drop concerts.
Since then, she has been introducing various genres of music including classical music, Japanese songs, and children's songs with stories at drop concerts. She has performed at concert halls and outdoor events all over Japan, from Okinawa to Aomori, the annual drop Christmas concert at the Kenmin Kyoudo Rai Hall (Yokohama), live support for Countertenor Slava's Japan tour, Sotokoto events at Shinjuku Gyoen, and many more.
