The group, with Dr. Takashi Shiratani as its permanent conductor, started its activities in January 2023 with the aim of tackling a wide range of topics from Baroque and Classical to Romantic and Contemporary music, and featuring works by Japanese composers, regardless of the period or country, by setting a concept for each concert. The ensemble is a string ensemble that began its activities in January 2023.
The members of the ensemble come from a wide range of age groups who agree with the idea of creating true music by facing each piece of music with a firm focus on the background of the composer, the country and the period in which he/she lived, and the work.
This concert will be the first regular concert of the group.
Under the concept of "Serenades - 'Songs of Love' that have changed with the times," the concert will feature serenades from various eras. The concert will also feature a work by a Japanese composer, Takashi Yoshimatsu's "The Bird is Silent...".
