Kawasaki Symphonic Band Summer WIND Concert 2024
Summer in Japan
2024/07/06(sa.) 15:30 Starting
The theme of this year's concert is "Summer in Japan!
In the first part, we will perform a baseball cheer song and a piece for the brass band competition at Koshien, an event unique to summer in Japan.
In the second part, we will present songs depicting scenes and customs of summer in Japan. Please look forward to the conductor's corner, a Kawabuki specialty!
For the finale, we will perform an original brass band suite by an American composer. The fourth piece in the suite is based on the motif of "Awaodori," a traditional performing art of Tokushima. We hope that many people will come to the concert and enjoy the various summer scenes and nostalgic memories of the past.
