Music Forest
Formed in 2008, Music Forest released its first mini-album "Prelude" in 2009! Tokyo Project (individual type)" in 2020, and was selected for the "Yokohama City Support Program for Cultural and Artistic Activities" in the same year; was recognized as the 20th Heaven Artist by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in 2021 (8 out of 73 groups), and the concert they organized in the same year was selected for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' "ARTS for the Future! The members of the group include the highest prize winner of the Japan Classical Music Competition, the highest prize winner of the 19th Newcomer's Concert sponsored by the Percussion Instrument Society, and the second prize winner in the marimba division of the International Percussion Competition in Italy, and their musicality is highly acclaimed.
The group performs a wide range of music, including healing, jazz, and popular music, but their world music, which combines traditional instruments from around the world such as tin whistles, bouzouki, and taiko drums, is called "world travel music," and is highly regarded as music that everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy. It has gained popularity as music that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly.
