Graduated from Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with first prize. He also studied at the Artist Diploma Course of Boston University in the U.S. He participated in the Tanglewood Music Festival and the Kneisel Hall Music Festival, and won the first prize at the Hayda Herman International String Competition.
After serving as a member of the Orchestre de Paris and principal cellist of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, he has been the first principal cellist of the Orchestre National de l'Opéra de Paris since 2008.
As a soloist, he has performed with the Orchestre National de l'Opera de Paris conducted by Seiji Ozawa, the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, and the Albanian National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

She studied piano at Kunitachi College of Music, chamber music at Conservatoire de Paris, and conducting at Conservatorio Claudio Abbado in Milan, where she also completed courses in accompaniment, composition and writing, and orchestral music. He also studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. During this time, he has frequently served as official pianist for orchestral competitions.
He won first prize in the chamber music division at the UFAM and Belin International Competitions in Paris, and was selected for the Brahms International Competition (piano) in 2006 and the Nikisch International Competition (conducting) in 2008.
