Tokyo University of Agriculture OBOG Orchestra 15th Regular Concert

For our 15th regular concert, we chose "nature" as the theme.
The word "nature" includes a variety of works, and many pieces were selected, but when the lid was opened, it turned out to be an all-Dvořák program.
The main piece was his masterpiece "Symphony No. 8," which was written shortly before he left for the U.S. It is a masterpiece that gives a sense of the majestic Czech "nature.
In the first half of the program, we will present the overture trilogy "Nature, Life, and Love" - In Nature, Carnival, and Othello - which was also composed shortly before his departure for the United States. Although you may have heard the overture trilogy individually, there are few opportunities to perform all three at the same time, and some of the overtures may not be familiar to you, but considering the same motifs and the style of orchestration, there is an impression to be gained by performing all three at the same time.
All four pieces in this program will allow the audience to feel the Czech "nature" that lies at the root of Dvořák's music. Please enjoy the affinity between "agriculture" and "nature" in Katsushika, Tokyo!
