Chorus Ensemble IRIS will perform at Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall on August 18 at the request of a large orchestra in a concert of Mahler Symphony No. 3, Brahms Neunier (Mourning Song) Op82, and Mozart Kyrie K341. As a project for this performance, we will experience the "Bell Chorus" of the 5th movement of Symphony No. 3 with voice training. The event is open to female chorus and children's chorus (elementary school to college age).

The "Bell Chorus" is an easy to sing and understand song. It is approximately 6 to 7 minutes long. It is sung in German, but most of the lyrics are "Bimm! Bamm! In the children's chorus, there are only three sentences in German. One of those sentences is sung to the same melody with the same lyrics as the women's chorus. Therefore, there is very little German language.
The German language of the women's chorus is only about half of that of the 9th Symphony.
