I met Bartolomei at a workshop in 2014. For the next three years, I attended his lessons and absorbed the Viennese tradition of sound creation and his romantic musicality.
It is a great pity that he passed away suddenly at the end of last year, and that we could not fulfill the promise we made when he returned to Japan that we would perform together in Fukuoka someday.
