~~~ What is "IMAGINARC Music of the Imagination"? ~~~~
This concert is a collection of various music from video games, animation, movies, etc., arranged mainly for two pianos and collected under five themes. In addition, five composers will write five new pieces for each theme, and 11 novelists will write a total of 15 new short stories.
~~~Comment from Producer Yui Morishita
IMAGINARC" is a coined word combining Imagination and Arc. It means a spark of imagination that transcends genres.

 I started my career as a classical pianist, but took a somewhat unusual path by making my CD debut on Nico Nico Douga, and later as a studio musician and arranger. In the process, I have been forced to expand my perception of music and art many times, and have often found elements that seem to be common to different types of works at first glance.
 By following the sparks of imagination, we may be able to free genres and connect works that would not have been connected in the past. With this in mind, we have compiled a list of pieces that we would like to perform on two pianos, focusing on narrative music, from classical to animation to video games, and have identified five poetic keywords as the elements that underlie them. Based on these five themes, we commissioned new compositions from five trusted composers and short stories written by 11 talented novelists.
 The performance will be given by nine attractive pianists who agreed to perform the pieces. Five-color poems flow from the black and white keyboard! --Please enjoy a multilayered musical experience in which new works sprouting from the seeds of poetic imagination, existing works, and works reworked for this concert resonate beyond the dimensions of stage and paper.
