Yasuko Takezawa 18th Century 1-Key Flute Recital

This is an hour-long concert without intermission, featuring a performance of 18th century one-key flute and chatting by Taiko Takezawa, flutist of the popular classical music ensemble "Juvenalis," who has performed with Iwao Furusawa. The flutist of "Juvenalice," an ensemble of Japan's top antique musicians, will present a fascinating 18th-century composition on an original instrument. This will be Yasuko Takezawa's first solo recital in Japan.

Taiko Takezawa began playing the piano at the age of 5, and started playing the flute at the age of 16.
She graduated from Kamakura High School. After graduating from Toho Gakuen School of Music, she studied in the Netherlands.
She completed her master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Den Haag.
Presented period-specific performance styles using original instruments.
