We will present the masterpieces of Side:B!
We would like to make widely known not only the masterpieces such as Symphony No. 1, No. 3, No. 5, No. 7, and No. 9, which have been featured in many concerts recently as representative works of great composers, but also music that is recorded on the B-side of records. The orchestra was established with this in mind.
In this performance, Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 will be featured as the main program as a special concert.
The main program is Beethoven's Symphony No. 4, the least frequently performed of Beethoven's nine symphonies. In the first half of the concert, Handel/Music for Fireworks at the Royal Palace and Mozart/Horn Concerto No. 2 (soloist: Mai Sekizawa) will be performed.
