Osaka Symphony Orchestra The 273rd Regular Concert Unofficial

Dvořák, the composer who was born in Bohemia, a Slavic country, and who wrote about the Slavic soul, will perform his Symphony No. 8, also known as "England," as the main program to commemorate the 120th anniversary of his death. Jason Rae, who coincidentally is a British conductor and will be making his first appearance with the orchestra, will lead a spirited performance of Dvořák's world! The Russian-born international cellist Pavel Gomtsiakov will perform Dvořák's masterpiece "Cello Concerto," which is widely known as "Dvorkon" and is said to have been inspired by Dvořák's own old love affair. The cello virtuoso will perform a beautiful and passionate rendition of the Slavic melancholy that seeps into the heart.
