Schütz Chamber Choir, one of Japan's leading choral ensembles in the Kansai region, presents its first Tokyo concert in seven years, marking the 49th anniversary of its founding. This year's program features popular choral works by Makiko Kinoshita and Akira Nishimura, who sadly passed away last year, as well as a recent work by Hideki Chihara, whose "real singing" of Beethoven's masterpiece is both surprising and moving.
