Hello, this is the Tokyo Gakugei University Orchestra! We are the Tokyo Gakugei University Orchestra.
We are an intercollegiate club based in Tokyo Gakugei University, with 76 members in grades 2~4.
Our main goals are the Spring Concert in May and the Regular Concert in December, and we practice hard every day.

For the 51st Spring Concert, we will perform the overture to Rimsky=Korsakov's opera "The Emperor's Bride," Sibelius' Karelia Suite, and Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95 "From the New World.

Dvořák's "Symphony No. 9" is a well-known masterpiece, and we have been working on the composition of this familiar piece with great attention to detail in order to present it to you.

Last year, we held our 50th Spring Concert and entered a new era for our group. We will say goodbye to the Corona Disaster and move forward to a new stage this spring, delivering music with a will as a united group.

We look forward to seeing you at the Tokorozawa Civic Cultural Center Muse ARC Hall on Sunday, May 5.
