Sae Yamashita
Born in Hirakata City, Osaka in 2000, Yamashita began playing the piano at the age of five. Graduated from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in piano.
Currently enrolled in the master's program in piano research at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Music, Department of Instrumental Music.
First prize winner of the 1st Steinway Competition in Japan.
Second Prize in the 68th and 70th All Japan Student Music Competitions in Osaka.
The 26th Japan Classical Music Competition.
The Mayor of Kameoka Prize in the Music Division of the 30th Kyoto Art Festival.
Participated in the 1st Hanoi International Piano Festival and the 42nd Kirishima International Music Festival.
Performed at joint recitals including Kawai Omotesando, Bösendorfer Tokyo, and Steinway & Sons Tokyo, as well as Geidai Artsin Marunouchi in 2022.
She will give well-received piano recitals in Kyoto-Tokyo in 2021 and 2023. In addition to expanding her performance activities in the Kansai-Kanto region, she also teaches younger students. He is also a trusted chamber music and accompaniment pianist.
