Tokyo Sinfonia Kanehiro Kimotsuki Mandolin Serenade
Sinfonia Plus Champagne Concert No.63
2024/04/17(We.) 19:00 Starting
The highlight of the concert is a mandolin concerto by Tadashi Hattori, who is famous for composing NHK's radio gymnastics. The original "Concerto for two mandolins" has been specially arranged into "Concerto for mandolin and violin" by conductor Riker. As a partner for the mandolins, orchestra member Tomoko Uchiyama will play the violin.
Other mandolin pieces include Vivaldi, Spinelli, and Ranieri. The audience will enjoy the unique sound created by Mr. Kimotsuki's mandolin and the Tokyo Sinfonia. Please come and experience the live performance in the hall.
To celebrate this first collaboration with the mandolin, we will also offer online streaming (at a later date). Please do not miss it!
