◆Rebensorst Philharmonic Orchestra
The Ravensrust Philharmonic Orchestra (a.k.a. Raven) is an amateur orchestra founded in April 2016. The group does not have a specific parent organization, and about 70 members, mostly in their 20s who have been active in various performing groups, gather for each concert.
What we value is "creating music together through dialogue. We aim to create a performance that is uniquely Raven by allowing each member to proactively face the music and mix their own individual colors. The name of the group, Lebenslust, means "joy of life" in German, and one of the characteristics of the group is that it is a place where music lovers can enjoy each other's values and musical ideas.
The main activities of the group at present are to hold concerts and ensemble concerts once or twice a year, to perform at the "Matsudo Christmas Music Festival," and to give mini-concerts at elementary schools to make classical music more accessible to the general public.
