Kawanishi Civic Orchestra Family Concert 2024

The "Family Concert" is a concert for all generations of local residents to see and hear a live orchestra, free of charge, and open to preschool children. The concert will feature a collection of familiar small masterpieces.
We hope that everyone in the community will know and enjoy that there is an amateur orchestra based in Kawanishi City.
Our guest, Mr. Shunsuke Tada, is a local marimba player with Down syndrome, a mental disability. The members of the group have long been fascinated by Mr. Tada's marimba playing. Mr. Tada also wanted to play a piece he had heard at one of the group's concerts! It took him many years to add this piece to his repertoire, which led to this collaboration! We hope you will enjoy the gentle and deep sound of the marimba.
Numbered admission tickets are required for this concert (free of charge), and will be available from 3/15 through the group members or via the web application form. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please understand that the hall has a limited capacity.

Numbered tickets will be distributed: Please obtain them in advance by one of the following methods
