The Shinjuku Symphony Orchestra makes its first appearance at the Bunkyo Civic Hall with the Kanagawa Philharmonic Assistant Conductor and up-and-coming conductor, Yuta Kobayashi. The orchestra will present Dvorak and other music associated with Bohemia.

Shinjuku Symphony Orchestra is an amateur orchestra founded in 1990. The orchestra is not composed of members who graduated from a specific university, but people of various ages and occupations belong to the orchestra, and it is managed independently and self-reliantly.
The orchestra was founded to perform all four symphonies by Brahms and Schumann, and since then has been working on a wide range of music from the classics to modern and contemporary works.
