As a solo baritone of the prestigious Frankfurt City Opera in Germany, Tadao Yoshie performed with world-famous singers such as Pavarotti and Carreras, and as a Lieder singer, he performed at music festivals and on stage throughout Europe. While pursuing the depths of singing in her hometown of Shinshu, Japan, she continues to perform in Japan and abroad, including collaborations with piano master Jörg Demus.
Chie Hirai, a virtuoso fortepianoist who was fascinated by Tadao Yoshie's music and personality, has been performing with him with great respect, and last year they completed a concert series of three major Schubert songs.
