Profile of Shigenori Kudo
Graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris with first prize, and began performing throughout the world with the recognition of his teacher Rampal. He has performed at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées (Paris), the Musikverein in Vienna, La Scala in Milan, Lincoln Center in New York, and other prestigious concert halls around the world, and has visited 40 countries as a soloist. He has performed more than 60 flute concertos with renowned conductors including Seiji Ozawa, Yutaka Sado, M. Rostropovich, and J.F. Paillard, and has released a discography of over 70 titles.
