Highlights/Listening to the music
The piece opens with Bach's "Grand Fugue". The tone played by only six clarinets, large and small, is the sound of the pipes of a pipe organ, and you will feel the impact as if a pipe organ appeared before your eyes. Also, thanks to the virtuosity of the arrangement, you will be able to hear the tones of the clarinets from high to low moving left and right on the stage, as if the sound is moving from one side of the pipes to the other.
After enjoying the delightful polkas and waltzes, which are the group's specialty and which they have cultivated through eight performances in Vienna, the audience will be able to hear the main piece, Symphony No. 3 "Scotland," and wonder to what extent the magnificent orchestration can be reproduced by clarinets alone. We hope you will enjoy the powerful music that only our group, which pursues the possibilities of the clarinet rather than a mere clarinet ensemble, can produce.
This is a concert not only for clarinetists, but for all music lovers. Please enjoy the unique sound of the same instrument. We look forward to seeing you at the concert.
