Tokyo-Europe Friendship Music Festival

Hello. This is the Friendship Music Festival Orchestra. We are pleased to present a Tchaikovsky program with Mr. Anton Balakhovsky, First Concertmaster of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and Concertmaster of the Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Balakhovsky will perform with the orchestra members as soloist in the Violin Concerto and concertmaster in Symphony No. 5. The conductor is Daisuke Mogi, former principal oboe player of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. This is his second appearance following last November. Proceeds will be donated through Japan Platform for urgent international humanitarian assistance, including support for the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
