Arietta Symphony Orchestra 18th Concert

The Arietta Symphony Orchestra, the only amateur orchestra based in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, will perform Grieg's masterpieces among many famous piano concertos with Yuko Sano, a native of Itabashi Ward who is currently based in England, as the soloist.
In addition, the orchestra will perform Schubert's ambitious and final symphony "The Great" and Sibelius's "Lyric Waltz," which Sibelius wrote in memory of Vienna, where he studied as a young man, under the direction of Yasunori Oichi, the orchestra's permanent conductor.

On the day of the concert, we will collect PET bottle caps for the Japan Committee for Vaccines for the World's Children (JCV), an authorized NPO. This is an effort by JCV, in cooperation with UNICEF, to use the proceeds from the recycling of PET bottle caps to produce vaccines for polio and other diseases for developing countries. We would appreciate it if you could bring one or more plastic bottle caps to the event and place them in the collection box in the lobby.
