First PAC regular appearance!

French master Sylvain Cambourin. This is his long-awaited first appearance in the PAC subscription concert series. He was originally scheduled to appear in the subscription concert in February 2022, but due to travel restrictions caused by the spread of the new coronavirus, he was unable to come to Japan, so this will be his first appearance in over two years.
The first half of the concert will feature Tchaikovsky's masterpiece, Piano Concerto No. 1. Since winning the first prize at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in 2021, Nakagawa has been invited as a soloist to orchestras and festivals around the world and is steadily gaining fans. This is a rare opportunity to hear this outstanding talent in Hyogo!
The second half of the program will be "Symphonie fantastique" by Berlioz, a French composer like Cambrelin. The world of a lovesick artist's "fantasy" unfolds over five movements. This is the first collaboration between the maestro, who has created many masterpieces in his long career, and fresh PAC members. Expectations are high!
