Washinomiya Wind Ensemble 31st Regular Concert

That warmth that I have touched long, long ago..." This is a quote from the lyrics of "Futatabi" (lyrics by Mamiko Suzuki, music by Joe Hisaishi). It is my sincere pleasure to be able to hold the concert again as usual, without any restrictions, just as we did before the pandemic.
　This concert will begin with a march by Sousa, the March King, the origin of brass band music, and will return to the works of the Baroque period by Bach, the father of music. The "Tanabata" is a reprise of the Summer Concert, and the "Prelude to the Pastoral Afternoon" goes back in time to Greek mythology.
　After a guest performance by the percussion ensemble Rythmission, Washinomiya Wind will perform "Disney Medley II," which they used to perform in their early days, for the first time in many years on the occasion of Disney's 100th anniversary. The title of the song itself is "Reprise (Again). We hope you will enjoy the exciting and rhythmic music of Latin, mambo and samba, at the end.
