Aries
Aries is a piano unit formed in October 2021 by Nanako Kitawaki and Seika Konishi, and posts performance videos on YouTube. They perform at events and hold regular concerts.
Nanako Kitawaki
After studying music at Nishinomiya High School in Hyogo Prefecture, Kitawaki graduated from the Music Expression Course in the Department of Educational Cooperative Studies at Osaka Kyoiku University.
She won the Gold Prize in the E Division of the 28th Hyogo Prefectural Student Piano Competition, as well as the Encouragement Prize and the Hyogo Prefecture Superintendent of Education Prize.
She won the Bronze Prize in the University and General Section of the 13th Tokushima Music Award Competition.
She has studied under Yukie Suzuki, Yuko Okada, Yumiko Sato, and Makoto Yamahata.
Currently, she performs and teaches younger students.
Seika Konishi
Seika Konishi graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts with a major in piano after studying music at Nishinomiya High School in Hyogo Prefecture.
She won the first prize in the high school piano division of the 6th Aoniyoshi Music Competition in Nara, Japan. She performed in a joint recital organized by the same competition.
She also appeared in the 52nd Graduation Concert and the 45th Yomiuri Chubu Newcomers' Concert upon graduation from the university.
She has studied piano under Yumiko Vallee, Mika Araki, and Hiroyuki Abe, and voice under Tomoko Nakamura and Sumi Namikawa.
Currently a third-year student at Osaka College of Music, majoring in voice.
