We are pleased to announce our 16th regular concert.
The year 2024 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of the English composer "G. Holst.
He is a composer widely known mainly for his orchestral, brass band, and string ensemble music, and one of his best-known works is "Suite for Orchestra 'The Planets'".
The "First Suite for Wind Band" featured in this issue is one of G. Holst's earliest works, composed more than 100 years ago. It can be regarded as the original work that solidified the instrumentation of today's brass bands, and occupies an important position as a classical work.
Other special stages will feature familiar Studio Ghibli works, such as "Howl's Moving Castle," which will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release.
