Aya Hasegawa (Violin)
Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music. She studied violin under Shizuko Ishii and Mari Sone, chamber music under Kazuoki Fujii and Takashi Shimizu. She studied violin with D. Mazurkevich, a disciple of D. Oistrakh, and L. Lin (Boston Symphony Orchestra), and was concertmaster of the Sapporo PMF in 1997 (conducted by C. Eschenbach). In 1999, he performed chamber music with A. Previn at the Tanglewood Music Festival directed by Seiji Ozawa.
He has been in France since 2001. After working with the Orchestre Lamoureux under the direction of Yutaka Sado, he has been a member of the Orchestre Symphonique de Tours since 2003, and regularly performs with the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre de l'Opera de Paris.
Since 2009, he has been the 2nd Vl player of the Bedrish String Quartet. Yuki Hasegawa has studied piano at Kunitachi College of Music, chamber music at Conservatoire de Paris, conducting at Conservatoire Aberdo in Milan, accompaniment, composition, writing, and orchestral music. He also studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. During this time, he has frequently served as official pianist for orchestral competitions and other competitions.
