Aurora Philharmonic Orchestra

The orchestra was formed by musicians with a passion for music, mainly from orchestras in the Hamamatsu area, to take on the challenge of performing major works that are difficult to perform alone.
This year's concert will feature Bruckner's Symphony No. 8, a masterpiece that has been called "the greatest masterpiece in classical music history. This performance will use the Haas version, which includes the restoration of parts deleted in the revision from the first draft to the second draft. In recent years, the Novak version, which is a more scholarly revision, has been used more often, but there are many beautiful passages that can be enjoyed only in the Haas version, and it has a charm that cannot be discarded.
The conductor is Kenjiro Sakairi, who has professed his love for Bruckner. He has loved this work since his amateur days and has expressed his passion for this performance.
