Mahler Wesen Philharmonic Tokyo

This is an amateur orchestra that takes up the challenge of performing all of Mahler's symphonies, as well as Mahler's songs, arrangements, and related works.
Originally, the group was gathered to perform Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" at the 10th "Wako 3.11 Don't Forget" Final Concert. However, the concert was cancelled due to the Corona disaster, and instead we performed "Mahler's Funeral" and "Dvorak's New World" in a joint concert with other groups, which led to the establishment of our organization.
The first concert (April 30, 2022) featured Mahler's Symphony No. 1 "Giant" (with Flower Chapter) and Leonore Overture No. 3 (arranged by Mahler), and the second concert (March 21, 2023) featured Mahler's Symphony No. 6 "Tragic".
Furthermore, the 4th concert (Kawasaki Musa) will be held on April 13, 2025.
