Yokohama Symphonic Ensemble 30th Regular Concert

In January 2024, we will present Beethoven's 9th Symphony at MUZA KAWASAKI, celebrating the 200th anniversary of its first performance!
This will be the 30th anniversary performance of our group. Please come and enjoy the masterpiece in this commemorative year!

This will be our seventh collaboration with conductor Tsuyoshi Tabei since the 17th concert in January 2010.
This year, we had a two-day and one-night training camp at a guest house on the Iwai Coast for the first time in four years, and under the enthusiastic baton of Mr. Tabei, we spent a weekend immersed in Beethoven.

This time, we welcomed four soloists for the 9th symphony: Ms. Akiko Iwashita (soprano), Ms. Chiharu Takahashi (alto), Mr. Shuntaro Konuma (tenor), and Mr. Eitaro Matsui (bass).
This will be the second time in 10 years that we have performed with Ms. Iwashita (soprano) and Ms. Takahashi (alto), who performed Mahler Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" at the 21st Regular Concert in January 2014!
