Orchestra of Spring

Orchestra of Spring (a.k.a. Spring Orchestra) is an amateur orchestra founded by Chiba University graduates in 2017.
Currently, many working people and students from the Tokyo metropolitan area are playing together, transcending the boundaries of their home universities.

The concept of the orchestra is to "create music that communicates," "hold a wide variety of concerts," and "connect with others," and the members actively engage in ensembles and exchange of ideas.
The two main concerts are the "subscription concert" for enjoying classical music and the "flat PROJECT" for those who are not familiar with classical music to drop in casually.
Celebrating the 5th anniversary of its formation, the group is expanding its activities to further improve the connections among its members and the ensemble.

The theme of flat PROJECT vol.5 was "Nostalgia: Let the music carry the message to your hometown.
Composers who have special feelings for their hometowns and put those feelings into music. What did they want to convey to their hometowns?
We will unravel it through the music we will play and the narration and other performances that only the flat PROJECT can provide.
