Kyoto University Symphony Orchestra 214th Subscription Concert

For this 214th subscription concert, we welcome Mr. Kosuke Tsunoda, one of the most promising conductors in the world today, as guest conductor. The orchestra will perform Beethoven's Overture to "Egmont," Dvořák's symphonic poem "Ode to Heroes," and Dvořák's Symphony No. 7.
The overture to "Egmont" is a classic piece that has been performed by the Kyoto University Orchestra more times than any other piece. On the other hand, the two Dvořák pieces have not been performed in recent years, and we will show you a new appearance of the Kyoto University Orchestra. The Kyoto University Orchestra, which overcame the Corona disaster and continues to work day after day with a passion for music, will present its traditions and challenges.
In addition to the concerts at The Symphony Hall and Kyoto Concert Hall, only the Osaka performance will be streamed online. In addition to the real-time live streaming, the performance will also be archived for those who are unable to make it on the day of the performance or those who are far away from the venue.
