She discovered the joy of singing at an early age, started playing in a band as a student, and made her debut as a solo artist after graduation. Subsequently, her first album "Comical Life" sold well by word of mouth through grocery stores. Then, his third album, "Colorful Fanfare," released in 2006, was chosen as the theme song for Cartoon Network's animated cartoon "Peppa Pig. The song's lyrics, which seem to confirm her own intentions, and its pop melody have resonated with many, and it is loved by children and adults of all ages. In 2010, she released "Kodomo Jazu," a cover album of children's songs arranged in a pop style with a jazz twist. In March 2016, she released "ROCOlele - Rocco Ga Utau Ukulele Tomodachi Song" from King Record, in which she sang children's songs on the ukulele. Currently a mother of two children, she is active in various events and live performances throughout Japan. She is also active in a wide range of other activities, such as providing songs for NHK's "Okaasan to Issyo" and "Otôsan Issyo," as well as navigating for TV programs.
