Saori Kuriyama Prokofiev Complete Piano Sonatas No.3 Wandering Man

The second half of the series of concerts of Prokofiev's piano sonatas, which can be called a history of the composer's life, has finally begun.
This third concert will feature Sonatas Nos. 4 and 8, as well as the rarely performed "itself, op. 45.

No. 4, the last work from the early days of the Russian Empire, is far removed from the image of Prokofiev that is generally imagined (a parade of dissonances, etc.). Sonata No. 8, the last sonata of the trilogy, also known as the "war sonata," is even more gentle than the famous No. 7. However, both sonatas have something stirring beneath the serenity and beautiful melody of the upper part of the sonatas. What is that something? I hope you will come and look for it.
Prokofiev himself was fond of playing "itself," although it is rarely performed today. Inspired by the ideas of the philosopher Kant, you will discover a completely different face of this work depending on your point of view.
