Ensemble della Sfida is an amateur orchestra founded by former student orchestras in the Kansai region. With "Sfida" meaning "challenge" in Italian as the name of the organization, each member of the orchestra is sincerely devoted to music and pursues the possibilities of "music".
The first concert was held in February 2022, and the orchestra performed Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 and other works. Since then, the orchestra has held two concerts a year (chamber music and orchestra). Currently, in order to enhance the ensemble's ability, they perform without a conductor, focusing on music of the classical period.
