Orquestra Classica 13th Regular Concert

[Prayer Resounding, Everywhere.
Sibelius' Symphony No. 6 is a prayer music written against the backdrop of departed friends and the devastation of war. It is a labor of love that makes use of his studies of Renaissance and church music.
Schubert's Symphony No. 8, "The Great," is the fruition of a young man who admired Beethoven and dreamed of writing a symphony as great as the Ninth.
The "longing for the Eternal" crystallized through the two composers. Please enjoy the rich expression of their individuality in Classica, which specializes in clean and spacious sound.
