◆Chika Inoue
Saxophone. Born in Takatsuki, Osaka. She has performed extensively in Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and is dedicated to promoting saxophone music, which has great potential in the classical music world. Based in Los Angeles, he plays saxophone with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He has performed as a soloist with the La Jolla Symphony Orchestra, Culver City Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Master Chorale, California Opera, Brooklyn Metro Chamber Orchestra, and others. He has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras and orchestras. He has completed graduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), California State University, Fresno, and the doctoral program at the Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California (USC). He is currently a professor of music at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Selmer Paris Saxophone, Vandoren, lefreQue, and KeyLeaves artist. www.chikainoue.com
◆Mikiko Yamaguchi
Piano. She won the first prize at the All Tohoku Piano Competition and the Minister of Education's Encouragement Prize. Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music, Department of Performance, and Meister Course of Würzburg College of Music, Germany. Obtained German National Performer Certificate. In 2014, she opened Settsu Hibiki Saal in Takatsuki City. She is a recipient of the 2020 Lions Club Takatsuki Foundation Award. He donated a grand piano to Kyoto Station.
◆Yoshiaki Inoue
Yoshiaki Inoue is a potter of Kashida-yaki pottery. He creates Kashida-yaki pottery with motifs of bamboo shoots and bamboos of Takatsuki City, using mountain soil and ash from thinning in Kashida area, Takatsuki City. He has received numerous awards, including the Imperial Invention Award (Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation), the Hobby Grand Prize (Japan Hobby Association), and the Grand Prize at the Osaka Prefecture Senior Art Exhibition. He was also selected for the "Contemporary Artists Exhibition 2023" held at the National Art Center, Tokyo. He has held solo exhibitions in Berlin, Germany, as well as exhibitions in Kyoto and Ginza, Tokyo. He is also active in promoting Kashida-yaki through pottery classes.
