Orchestra Juan Vasenar Fukuyama will perform works composed from 1750 to about 80 under the title of "Those who gathered in Berlin" - the brilliance of Gallant that Bach could not see.

It is a well-known story that Bach's father visited his second son, Carl Philipp Emanuel, in Berlin in 1747, and that the theme presented by Frederick the Great at that time later became "Musikalisches Opfer" (Musical Offering).

At the time, the musical style produced may have seemed too fashionable to his father, Bach. We hope to share with you the true nature of the music of his land, which is called "Gallant style," with the flute. We look forward to seeing you there. (Makoto Akatsu)
