Baroque music is most commonly associated with Bach, but two of the more popular composers of the time were Telemann and Handel. This concert will feature several pieces from the "New Quartets" (a.k.a. Paris Quartets), which are considered masterpieces among their many works, as well as a trio sonata and a harpsichord solo, all performed on instruments (old instruments) used in those days.

The Espoir Quartet is an old music ensemble that has been gathering regularly even though they cannot give concerts at the Corona Disaster, in the hope of keeping the seed of hope (espoir) in their music. Finally, the flowers will bloom! We look forward to seeing you at the concert.
