Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra 137th Subscription Concert Unofficial

Dantone, a world authority on Baroque music, will make his debut with a Japanese orchestra on the stage with KCO. The program will include his specialty, Baroque and Classical music from Vivaldi to Haydn, as well as the Asian premiere of Porpora's masterpiece concerto arranged by Dantone himself for Abbado's memorial performance, allowing the audience to fully enjoy the charm of Dantone's music both as a conductor and soloist. In the first half of the concert, Dantone's public and private partner, Delphine Gallou, who is visiting Japan for the first time, will perform a brilliant ajarita and a number of beautiful and emotionally rich arias from baroque operas.
