Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra in Kitakyushu Unofficial

Luxurious program of Bruch by Axelrod & Fumiaki Miura and Beethoven's "Destiny
The first performance in Kitakyushu by the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra (PAC)!

Conducted by John Axelrod, who has performed with major orchestras around the world and is expanding his activities in Japan. The orchestra will present a total of three pieces, including Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, famous for the fateful motive "Jajajajaan". The soloist for the Violin Concerto is Fumiaki Miura, the youngest ever winner of the difficult Hanover International Competition. They will perform Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1, one of the most popular violin concertos of all time. This will be the first concert in Kitakyushu. We are looking forward to seeing you all!

The "Orchestra Caravan" will be held under the Art Caravan 2 (a project for restoring demand for culture and the arts and revitalizing local communities by governing bodies) of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. It will be held in various regions of Japan with the aim of enabling people who have lost touch with the arts due to the new coronavirus infection to experience the joy of appreciating the arts again, as well as to improve the quality of culture and the importance and attractiveness of the arts.
