Hitotsubashi University Orchestra
The 71st Regular Concert
2023/12/13(We.) 19:00 Starting
This is the last concert of the year to be given by the Hitotsubashi University Orchestra, which has a history of over 100 years.
Under the direction of Prof. Kyohei Tomihira, the orchestra will perform three pieces, mainly S. Rachmaninoff's "Symphonic Dances," which marks the 150th anniversary of his birth, C.M.v. Weber's Overture to "Euliante" and P. Tchaikovsky's overture "1812".
This will be the first performance at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space since the orchestra's 67th Subscription Concert in 2019, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the orchestra.
Please come and join us for the culminating performance by over 100 members of the orchestra!
A pre-concert concert will be held from 18:30.
