On Saturday, November 25, 2023, we will hold a concert by Tanase Keita, who is attracting attention as a young hope in the Tsugaru shamisen world, and "Maeyasai," a Japanese drumming group active in Kawasaki City.
Tanase Keita was born in 2002 in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, and began learning the Tsugaru shamisen at the age of 9. He has performed in numerous competitions, and in 2021 he will dedicate Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto, Japan.
The taiko drumming group "Maenyasai" is mainly composed of working adults, but they are active in composing original music and performing at events throughout the city.
This concert is suitable for those who have little exposure to traditional Japanese music and for families with preschool children.
On the day of the concert, paper balloons will be given to the first 50 children!
